How you pick up your car
The ferry port is next to the centre, 1.5 km by road from Eleftherias Square and 4 km from the airport. Overnight ferries from Piraeus (Minoan Lines; ANEK with Blue Star Ferries) leave around 21:00 and arrive at about 06:00-07:00. High-speed boats from the Cyclades run daily from May to September, and ships to Rhodes, Karpathos and Kasos run all year. Tell the supplier your ship and arrival time when you book.
When you come off the ship, the supplier meets you at the port, sends you directions to their office, or sends a shuttle to take you there, and confirms which after booking. If you're returning the car here before a ferry out, agree the time and place with the supplier.
